Welcome to Liberty Farm of Lambertville Event Venue

Frequently Asked Questions About the Wedding Packages

Are the wedding packages set in stone?

No. Liberty Farm works with every couple to make their dreams come true. No two events are the same and we are able to do some tweaking, if necessary.

When can we decorate?

You have the entire day available to you. If there is not an event the night before, you are more then welcome to set up ahead of time. Plus, I will help with the decorating if you would like me to.

Is the deposit refundable?

Each wedding contract has a different deposit amount depending on which package you choose. A portion of the deposit is kept and is non-refundable. Please see individual contract for that exact amount. Majority of the deposit will be refunded to you within one week of your wedding, if all is satisfactory.  The same rule applies if you should cancel your event before the 90 day cut off. If you cancel your wedding, within 90 days of your wedding, your entire deposit will be forfeited.

Do you know someone who is a licensed wedding ceremony officiant?

Yes, me. I am ordained by the Universal Life Church and can perform your wedding ceremony. The fee is $100.

What happens if it rains?

We would move your wedding indoors to the barn.

Can we have a band/DJ?

Yes, we only ask that all music ends by 11 p.m.due to the Bedford Township noise ordinance. Please remember we are in a residential neighborhood so keeping all music to an acceptable volume is strongly encouraged.

How much is it to rent the Vintage China?

$1.00 per place setting. A place setting includes 3 items. You can choose from a dinner plate, salad plate, dessert plate, small/berry bowls, soup bowls, and teacups and saucers. For additional items add $0.25 per item. We also have serving bowls small and large platters, soup tureen's, cream and sugar bowls, and gravy boats for $1.00 each.

Do you have a dance floor?

We use the pergola in the backyard as a dance floor. It has lights and electricity. If you do not want that option or if it were to rain, we can use a portion of the tent, the buffet area, or the center of the barn.

Who sets everything up?

We do. Liberty Farm has a reputation for being very relaxing and stress free for our brides and grooms. We will take care of setting up the ceremony site, the reception area, the bar, placement of  decorations, signage, etc.... Your job is to enjoy your special day.

Do we have to take everything with us after the event?

Yes. We are booked every Friday, Saturday and Sunday so we need all belongings removed that evening so that we can clean and .prepare for the next day's event.
